Our Heart and Soul

At the Sheridan Baking Club, our events are the heart of what we do. Each meeting is more than just a baking session—it's a chance to laugh, learn, and share something homemade together.

Activities

Group Baking Sessions

Collaborative, hands-on sessions where members work together to create breads, pastries, cakes, or new recipes. These meetings focus on skill-building, teamwork, and learning baking techniques in a fun, supportive environment.

Decorating Challenges

Friendly competitions that put members’ creativity to the test. Participants decorate cupcakes, cookies, or cakes based on a theme, and entries are judged on originality, design, and technique. It’s a great way to experiment with new styles while having fun.

Seasonal Events

Festive baking activities tied to holidays and seasons—think Halloween cookie decorating, winter gingerbread builds, or spring fruit-tart workshops. These events celebrate the time of year with themed recipes, décor, and ingredients.

Social Mixers

Relaxed gatherings designed for members to connect outside the kitchen. Mixers may include snacks, music, baking-themed games, or recipe swaps, offering a laid-back space to meet new people and share a love of baking.

Where and When We Meet

We meet every other Wednesday at 5:30 PM in Room B201, Trafalgar Campus. The room is accessible by ramp and elevator.

Supplies

All baking ingredients and tools are provided by the club, thanks to our sponsors and member contributions. Just bring yourself, your love of food, and maybe a friend!
